Robert Anthony LaPiana, 95, of Delray Beach, FL passed away on February 18, 2025. Born in Bronx, NY on October 10, 1929 to Joseph and Anna LaPiana, he was one of three children.

Robert was raised in the Bronx and created many amazing memories spending summers with family in Salisbury Beach, MA. He left school at an early age, helping to earn his keep and better the family finances. All this hard work created a well rounded gentleman that caught the eye of a lovely young lady, Annette. They later married on June 14, 1962 and had one son, Michael (Mike) Anthony.

An avid baseball fan, he rooted for the Yankees like any good native New Yorker! He was extremely light hearted, loved cracking jokes, and always found room for a dessert or two.

Robert follows to heaven his siblings, Salvatore and Lee LaPiana-Halfhide; nephew, Joseph Rapisarda; nieces, Linda Gallo and Dina DiMarsico-Gianakon; wife, Annette DiMarsico-LaPiana.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Mike LaPiana (Jimmy Zilembo); cousin, Ross Faucher; nieces, Sandy Rapisarda and Denise DiMarsico; nephews, Vinny DiMarsico, Bobby and Joe LaPiana; and great nieces, Jaimi Rapisarda-Hendershot, Juliet Dickson, Nicole, Karen, and Kim Rapisarda; and great nephews Joe, Mark and Darren Rapisarda.
