Robert James Sutera, 63, of Coconut Creek, FL passed away on August 2, 2025. Born on June 10, 1962 in Passaic, NJ, he was one of five sons to Lawrence and Dorothy Sutera.

One of Bob's favorite pastimes was going down the shore and sitting by the water's edge or crabbing off the pier in Seaside Park, NJ. He had a passion for cooking, a skill he learned from his mother. Bob's easy-going, helpful nature made him a perfect candidate for caring for the family pets, while his sense of humor attracted many friends to his circle.

Throughout the years Bob had many successful careers but the most admired was a landscaping business he ran with a lifelong friend. With his love for driving, Bob also tried his hand in transportation with tow trucks, flatbeds, and car carriers. As a testimony to his driving skills, who could forget the year that Bob drove a Chrysler Newport without reverse gear?

Bob relocated to Florida in February 2020 and settled in the community of Wynmoor in October 2020.

Despite health issues over the last couple of years, Bob never complained. His unwavering positivity was a nod to his incredible spirit and tenacity in the face of hard times.

Bob was preceded in death by his brother, William.  He is survived by three brothers, Ken (Karen), Donald, and Mark (Cindy Charbonneau); extended family, and numerous friends. He will never be forgotten and will be constantly in our thoughts.

Rest in peace little brother.
