Robert Michael Wynne, better known to his loved ones as Bob or Bobby, was born in Bronx, NY on June 27, 1946. He was the youngest child of Irish Catholic immigrants Robert Wynne and Beatrice Layden. Bob grew up in a close-knit family, which consisted of his parents, his older sister, and other relatives who lived nearby.

Those who were lucky enough to get to know him were familiar with his easy smile, sense of humor, and love for Irish dance music. He was an avid Belleek collector and was a part of the Belleek Collectors Society. He was also very passionate about Irish Set Dancing. He enjoyed it so much that he eventually went on to be a professional Irish Set dance instructor, in addition to his main occupation as a computer programmer.

Bob met Bill, the love of his life, in 1998 in New York at a local bar. Bob knew that he found a great catch, so not soon after meeting him, he invited Bill to move in with him in New Jersey. Eventually, the couple decided to move to South Florida for greener pastures in 2001, and have been here since.

Some of the things which the couple enjoyed doing were going to the yearly Florida Renaissance Faire in Deerfield Beach, attending and participating in spiritual Full Moon drum circles, and being dads to fur babies Russy, an orange tabby, and Patches, the naughty cat who loved to cause trouble.

After years of being together, Bob and Bill officially tied the knot in 2016, surrounded by loved ones in a hand fasting ceremony. Both of them wanted to make sure that there were no barriers that would impede them from being together and from continually supporting each other. They had a total of 26 years of being partners in love, hardship, and everything else in between.

Sadly, Bob passed away on February 18, 2025 due to his ongoing medical issues. He was 78 years old. Bob was survived by Bill and their cat Patches.

We love you and miss you, Bob!
