Sam
Manfre
Jul 21, 1934 — Dec 23, 2025
Samuel "Sammy" Manfre originally of Gravesend, Brooklyn, NY and later of Boynton Beach, FL was truly one of a kind, the very best dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa anyone could ever hope for. He was the life of every party, our beloved silver fox with a bright, unforgettable smile and dance moves that could light up any room. Wherever there was music, laughter, and family, Sammy was right at the center of it all, making memories and pulling everyone together.
Sammy met the love of his life, Annette, at Tommy's Luncheonette in Brooklyn, NY a love story that feels straight out of a movie. Annette would go out of her way on her walk to school just to catch a glimpse of him. Together they shared 51 beautiful years of marriage, 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. They built a life rooted in love, devotion, and family. Though Annette has gone before him, there is comfort in knowing he is reunited once again with his "Jack".
A proud U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean War, Sammy carried his strength and dedication with him throughout his life. Sammy found happiness in the simple pleasures, his church, horse racing, a good round of golf, and challenging crossword puzzles. He was famous for his mozzarella and eggs, a dish that somehow tasted better when made by him, and he was rarely seen without his cherished blue robe. These small, everyday moments are the ones his family will miss the most.
Above all, Sammy's greatest legacy is the love he gave so freely. He leaves behind a family that adored him, laughed with him, danced with him, and learned from him. His spirit, warmth, and unmistakable presence will live on in every shared story, every family gathering, and every song that makes us want to dance just like he always did
Forever loved. Forever missed.
Survived and missed by his children Paul (Veronica) Gina (Joseph), Annette and Cayla. His grandchildren Vinessa (Greg), Joseph (Adrienne), Samantha, Christopher, Gianna (Mitchell), Angelina, Ronnie (Kayla), Anthony (Ashley), Sabrina, Alexis, Harold (Keysi), Christian, Miguel and many great grandchildren.
