Shane Daniel
Douglas
Jul 21, 1999 — Mar 18, 2026
Guestbook and Livestream instructions are below the obituary.
Shane Daniel Douglas, born on July 21, 1999, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on March 18, 2026. Though his life was not long enough, it was filled with love, resilience, and moments that will be cherished forever by those who knew him.
Shane was the beloved son of Dianne Daniel and Anthony Douglas. He was deeply loved by his grandmothers, Jean Daniel and Elaine Douglas, and held close to the hearts of his aunts Laverne, Wendy, and Kathleen, and his uncles Jay and Trevor. Family was an important part of Shane's life, and he carried that love with him always.
He worked at BMW and Rick Case, where he was able to connect his work with one of his greatest passions—cars. Shane had a true love for automobiles and found joy both in his career and in sharing that passion with others.
Outside of work, Shane loved spending time with his friends. Whether it was simply hanging out, sharing stories, or enjoying life's small moments, he brought laughter and warmth wherever he went. His easygoing nature and genuine spirit made him someone people were naturally drawn to.
Shane's life was also marked by incredible strength. He survived two liver transplants, facing each challenge with courage and determination. His resilience was an inspiration, and it showed the depth of his will to keep going despite life's hardships.
Shane will be remembered for his kind heart, his love for those around him, and the strength he showed throughout his life. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Rest in peace, Shane. You will always be loved, and you will never be forgotten.
