Sophie Leona Lagattolla, 78, of Coconut Creek, FL passed away on July 23rd, 2023. Survived by her daughter, Lisa (Anthony) Neterer; grandchildren, Lauryn, Lucas, Rowan and Lena; brother, Edward (Darlene) Kozak; and niece, Melanie.

Sophie lived a fulfilling life as a mother, grandmother, sister, wife and friend. In 1978, Sophie met Mario Lagattolla in New York, NY. Sophie and Mario went on to have one child, Lisa Lagattolla. Mario was the love of Sophie's life, and she is now reunited with him forever and eternally. In 2020, Sophie retired from a fulfilling career with Calvary Chapel in Fort Lauderdale where she worked in Finance and Accounting. Previous to working at Calvary Chapel, Sophie worked at Fort Lauderdale Christian School for over 20 years.  Sophie touched the lives of so many people, and will continue to leave imprints on the hearts of her family, friends and loved ones.  Sophie enjoyed first and foremost the time she spent with her grandchildren, cooking-especially for holiday dinners and being a loyal friend and confidante to those around her.

She will be forever loved and missed, but never forgotten.
