It is with sincere sadness that the family announces the passing of Mrs. Susan Passalacqua on December 19, 2024 at the age of 94, beloved wife of the late John. Susan was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 9, 1930 to Joseph and Cecelia Fiorello.

Susan is survived by her sons, Vito (Helen) and Joseph (Diana); grandchildren, John (Antonella), Lisamarie (Nick), and Gianna (Ben); and great grandchildren, Jameson and Camden. Also left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Joseph Fiorello and Cecelia Pellerito.

Susan was a dedicated homemaker who doted on her family. Her compassion, kindness, generosity with an unwavering faith in God were known to all family and friends. She loved to gather her family, cook. Clean, play cards, attend Mass daily and watch the Jerry Springer show. Upon visiting her home you could hear "Grand Funk Railroad" playing.

Family meant everything to Susan. She adored her sisters and brothers who were always together.

"Mama," as she was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her passing has left a void in the hearts of family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her.

We love you so much and know in our hearts that heaven has opened up the skies for a new angel.
