Obituary

On April 13th, 2023 God called home His dearest son, Tarrie Louis Williams.

Tarrie was a caring and hardworking man who always wanted the best for everybody.

He was born on June 22, 1961 in Independence, Louisiana to the late Della Ree & Tollie Williams. As a young child, Tarrie was raised in Clinton, Louisiana with his brothers and sisters. And boy, did he love sharing stories of his childhood and school days at Jackson High School; where he was a STANDOUT basketball player.

Along his life's journey, Tarrie joined the U.S. Army in 1979. Which we're sure he would say was the happiest time of his life, for while stationed in Panama, he met his wife Rosa "Suga," or "Mi Amorcito" as he later affectionately called her. And together they had 2 beautiful children & 3 bonus children whom he raised as his own.

Tarrie also enjoyed watching sports, working, spending time with his "wife" and baking for family gatherings. And while he may be gone, let us never forget that NOBODY, absolutely NOBODY, will ever bake better than "Grandpa." You got it?!

Among the many other things that will remain in our hearts about him will be his tough love, how protective he was, the stories he so often shared with his grandkids and how he NEVER played around about his "Suga," that's for sure!

Terrie leaves to cherish his memory his "Mi Amorcito" (Rosa); his sons, Larry and Jerry; his daughters, Michelly and Wendy; his pets, Nina & Cece; his grandkids, Angelo, Carlos, Michael, Harris, Darious, Kevon, Taylor, Dominic, Gabriel, Isabelle, Diamond and Alex; his brothers, Bykee, Brian, Brad and George; his sisters, Brenda, Virginia and Sydney; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends.

Brother Tarrie, you couldn't fool us man! For as much as you weren't the affectionate type, your family knew how much you loved them. So be encouraged and rest assured that even while you begin your upcoming "assignment" in heaven, you can still watch over and protect the family you've ALWAYS protected.

We love you man!
