Thérèse Gilles (Mayousse) was born on June 5th, 1961, in Pestel, Haiti. raised in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. She migrated to New York in February 2005, relocated to Florida in July 2013. She passed peacefully with her children by her side on January 22nd, 2023.

Mayousse believed in living life and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends where she loves cracking jokes, dancing on the dance floor (Tropicana Cherie) and overall enjoying life (La Joie De Vivre). She was a caring coworker, a loyal friend, and most of all an amazing mother. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mayousse is predeceased by her children, her son Marc-Albert Louis Junior and her daughter Ann-Sherley Louis. The father of her children, Dr. Marc-Albert Louis. Her brothers and sisters: Mme.Marie F.
