Timothy James Sheehan, 79, passed away on February 11, 2023; he was a Margate resident for over 35 years. Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ to Robert and Anna Sheehan, Tim relocated to Florida in 1976.

Tim left school at a young age to help the family make ends meet. In his 40's he received his GED and then began college, earning a degree in waste management. Tim was incredibly hard working and loved his new career, working into his 70's.

An Irishman through and through, Guinness was his stout of choice and he found great joy in sharing one with his family and friends poolside while barbecuing. In his free time he would play a round of golf, catch a Sci-Fi movie, or begin crafting his next woodworking project. Top of mind always, however, was completing his Honey-Do list issued by his wife, and spoiling his grandchildren. His sense of humor was sarcastic and maybe even dirty at times, but Tim knew how to get everyone in the room laughing. A humble family man, his love was unconditional and he always lent a helping hand. His sparkling blue eyes, beautiful smile, and genuine heart will never be forgotten.

Tim was predeceased by his son, Timothy "Chris" Sheehan.

Survived by his loving wife of over 60 years, Maureen; daughter, Colleen (Glenn) Neubauer; and his spoiled grandchildren, Kristie (David) Mangold, Jamie Neubauer, and Haileigh Sheehan. Also left to cherish his memory are his great grandchildren, Amelia and Patrick; siblings, Maureen J. Sheehan of New Jersey and Dennis Sheehan; and many loving nieces and nephews.
