Verra Christine Alo Tuboro passed unexpectedly on August 24, 2022. She was born in Iligan City, Philippines on October 30, 1998 to loving parents Raul and Beverly, and became a big sister ("ate," as she is often lovingly called) to Iv the next year. The family immigrated to Florida in 2007 and immediately became treasured by the found families and communities they encountered.

Verra was an avid lover of K-pop music, dancing and thrifting clothes. She was admired for her unique sense of fashion, which she enjoyed expressing herself with. A Magna Cum Laude graduate, leader, and community volunteer, Verra was a strong advocate for mental health awareness. Through her psychology degree, she was able to accomplish her goal of connecting with others by fulfilling her desire to gain a greater understanding of people's thoughts and actions. Verra sought to further her education and aspired to assist in developing internet algorithms that would create resources and benefit those around her. She regularly extended her warm, caring spirit towards others. An adventurous soul, Verra loved spending time with family, trying new foods, traveling to new places, and capturing these memories in photos and videos. She was known for her gentle smile and laughter.

Verra is loved by many and will continue to be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her loved ones and her fearless, creative charm. She is survived by her mother and Iv and joins her father, Raul, in heaven. She is a cherished sister, daughter, cousin, and friend.
