William John Zobus, 84, of Margate, FL passed away on June 5, 2021. Born in Evanston, IL on February 11, 1937, he was one of four children. Bill graduated from Illinois College in 1960 and married his beloved Diane two years later. After spending two years in the National Guard, Bill spent the majority of his adult life in Streator, IL where he was the owner operator of Ritchie Furniture for 37 years before retiring. During that time he was a member of the Jaycees and the Streator Chamber of Commerce. Bill also began what would be a lifelong membership with Rotary International in 1975, eventually holding every office in his club. At the time of his passing, he was the current President for the local group. Bill was a gregarious man, he loved to make others laugh and enjoyed time spent with his family, friends, and Rotary members. When the opportunity arose, he enjoyed happy hour with his friends and business associates. The Zobus' also hosted over a dozen exchange students with whom they remained very close. Bill and Diane relocated to Margate, FL in the early 2000's. In 2014, Diane passed away leaving Bill with over 50 years of love and memories.

Bill is survived by his sons, Tom and Rick (& Stephanie); grandchildren, Katie and Tori; siblings, John, Jean, and Tom; and his dog, Louie.

A Memorial Service will be held on June 22, 2021 as part of Bill's Rotary meeting at Spanx the Hog BBQ Restaurant, 147 S Cypress Rd, Pompano Beach, FL 33060.
