Monarch Butterfly Release
When I Am Gone... Release Me... Let Me Go...
The monarch butterfly gracefully flies and is nature’s ultimate symbol of change, transformation and majesty. Releasing live monarch butterflies to honor a loved one is an extraordinary tribute. And for those releasing in memory of a loved one, it is remembering the joy and happiness of having them in our lives and releasing them to a new and better place.
Monarch butterflies are migratory and can travel thousands of miles. They will search out milkweed, which is their host plant, and go about their business of reproduction. In the fall they will migrate to various over-wintering sites, and possibly return in the spring.
*No damage to local butterfly populations or to the environment has been reported as a result of monarchs being sold, raised, and released. The experts in the field have found no scientific evidence that supports any of the early concerns to the releasing of farm-raised butterflies. The monarch butterflies used by Monarch Funeral Home and Cremation Services are local farm-raised butterflies.

Monarch Funeral Home and Cremation Services will support and guide you and your family before, during and after funeral services.
What the caterpillar perceives as the end…
to the butterfly is just the beginning.
